    Question

Hi, I've done some 16mm shooting but am completely new to the super 8 scene. I've been researching a bit on ebay and found these contenders:
They're basically very similar in pricing and specs (at least according to super8wiki anyway?)

    Eumig 880
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...1152&rd=1&rd=1

    Argus 816
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...1078&rd=1&rd=1

    Chinon XL555
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...2039&rd=1&rd=1

    and

    Sankyo Sound XL 40
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...0483&rd=1&rd=1

Which do you think would be the best bargain? I really don't mind if it has sound or not. Thanks so much!

The eumig is a good choice. I don't know the other cameras as well. I looked at the auction but it closed early, the seller may have found someone off of eBay to buy it.

Did you end up getting a Super-8 camera?
